Overview

SereneArc does not collect any data. The app runs entirely offline. Nothing you enter — intentions, mood entries, session records, or notes — ever leaves your device.

This policy describes how SereneArc handles information on your iPhone. Because the app has no network connection and no backend, most standard privacy disclosures do not apply here. We describe what the app does store and what it does not.

What We Do Not Collect

SereneArc does not collect, transmit, or process any of the following:

No personal information. No name, email address, phone number, or any identifier is ever requested or stored outside your device.

No usage data. No analytics, no session tracking, no feature-usage metrics. The developer has no visibility into how you use the app.

No crash reports or telemetry. No crash-reporting frameworks are included. The app contains no SDKs that phone home.

No location data. The app never requests access to your location.

No network connections. SereneArc makes no outbound network requests of any kind. There is no server, no API, and no cloud sync.

Local Storage on Your Device

SereneArc saves your data locally on your device using the iOS UserDefaults system. This data includes:

- Daily intentions (text phrases you write)
- Mood entries (level, tag, and optional note)
- Breathing session records (mode, duration, and cycle count)
- App preferences (reminders, haptics, profile name)
- Streak and day-record information

This data is stored under the key prefix SAR. in your device's local UserDefaults store. It is subject to the standard iOS backup behaviour (iCloud or local iTunes backup) that you control in your iPhone Settings. The app does not have its own backup mechanism.

To delete all your SereneArc data, use the Reset All Data control in the app's Preferences screen, or uninstall the app.

Apple Platform

SereneArc is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple has its own privacy practices that govern the App Store experience and iOS platform services. Those practices are described at apple.com/privacy.

The app may request permission to send local notifications if you enable the Daily Reminder feature. This permission is requested only when you turn on the reminder toggle in Preferences. The app functions fully without notification permission.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Because SereneArc collects no data, changes are expected to be minimal and will not affect your privacy in practice.
